ConnectED SPACES

Pillar II · The Table

Pull up a chair. Everyone's on the same side.

We foster meaningful connections and collaboration that strengthen our community. At this table teachers and parents stop guessing about each other and start partnering for the same child.

Teachers ↔ Parents

Home and school, finally talking.

A parent knows the child at the kitchen table. A teacher knows the child on the rug. Each only sees half.

The Table is where those two halves meet. It's a safe space where parents can ask what they've been afraid to ask, and teachers can share what they wish families knew, without anyone feeling judged.

Parents bring

The home

Who the child is when nobody's grading anything.

Teachers bring

The day

How the child learns, plays and grows in a room full of others.

The Table, in real life
Connection doesn't have to be formal. Sometimes it's a feather boa and a good laugh.
“The fundamental law of human beings is interdependence. A person is a person through other persons.”
